Brentor, Dartmoor National Park, Devon

From A30 take A386 towards Tavistock. At Lydford, turn right signposted Lydford and Brentor. Go through Lydford and past both entrances to NT property, Lydford Gorge.

After 2 miles turn next left after the sign for Burnville Farm, approximately 200 metres. 1/4 mile at next signpost turn left, into Burn Lane. Thorn Cottage 2nd house down lane on right hand side. Park in layby next to cottage. The Smithy is a further 40m down the lane.
