Thank you for our cosy cottage. Lovely to have a fire to light, after the heavy rain yesterday it was great to come back to. Special thanks for the snowdrops, an extra little addition for Valentines, and the delicious cream tea when we arrived!

January 2026 (New Year)

We had a very relaxing New Year at Annie's Cottage. very cosy with the logburner and everything we needed. Located in a great area for exploring. So quiet too! Visited Lopwell Dam, Burrator resevoir, Buckland Abbey and Tavistock. lots to see and do on your doorstep. Thank you.

December 2025 (Christmas)

We have had a lovely restful week and a very peaceful Christmas. We have visited the local hostelry once or twice! Thank you!

We have been coming here annually (covid break apart) since 2018 and latterly half yearly- which I hope shows how much we like the cottage ad the area. Sally and Christopher take great care to ensure a real home from home atmosphere and the church, pub and village are equally welcoming. Another good week of weather-lucky again!

I have had a great week here, despite mixed weather. Every day has been a joy-visiting Buckland Abbey + estate walks/The Garden House/ bus to Tavistock from here, Burrator Resevoir and into wonderful woodland glades, hiking up to Combeshead Tor (magnificent)! and also to the Tavy. I've been so happy here and hope to return. Thank you for everything Sally and your team.

Very pleasant week with Barney, our dog. Everything thoughtfully provided by Sally. We visited several NT properties ad loved seeing the ponies on the moor.

A very warm welcome-especially cream tea! A delightful, comfortable cottage. Morag was very helpful. Weather was kind. We were able to enjoy the garden and the summerhouse,- perfect.

lovely clean and tidy cottage. A joy to sit in the sun in the garden. Very relaxing. Excellent food and service at the pub only 100 yards.Many lovely countryside sights.
